It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 17th Annual Meeting of the Proteomics Society, India (PSI) and the conference on “Proteomics and Metabolomics: Innovations, Applications, and Impact,” to be held at the CSIR-Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CSIR-CCMB), Hyderabad, from December 18–20, 2025.
The conference theme is both timely and relevant, addressing key advances in human health, agriculture, and animal sciences. The integration of proteomics and metabolomics has transformed our understanding of disease biology and cellular mechanisms, offering a holistic view of biological systems.
The scientific program will feature an Education Day (December 17, 2025) for newcomers, along with plenary and invited lectures, poster sessions, pitch talks from selected abstracts, and presentations on emerging technologies by industry leaders. PSI-2025 aims to create a dynamic platform for scientific exchange, networking, and collaboration among researchers, clinicians, and industry professionals.
Sessions will cover a wide range of topics, including structural proteomics, proteogenomics, post-translational modifications, cellular mechanisms, infection and immunity, clinical proteomics, biomarker discovery, and applications in food, agriculture, and animal health. A key highlight will be the PSI Oration Lecture, recognizing an eminent scientist for lifetime contributions to proteomics and mass spectrometry.
Hyderabad, known for its rich history, cultural heritage, and scientific excellence, has emerged as a premier hub for biotechnology and life sciences in India. Home to leading institutions such as CSIR-CCMB, CSIR-IICT, TIFR Hyderabad campus, IIT Hyderabad, BRIC-NIAB, University of Hyderabad, and BITS Pilani-Hyderabad Campus, the city fosters innovation and academia–industry collaboration.
